HireArt is helping the world’s largest social network find a Project Manager (Sound Design) to join its sound design team.
In this role, you'll role combine audio pipeline production knowledge with project management.
We're looking for candidates who have a passion for sound, excellent attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills. You must have the ability to collaborate closely with other team members, product groups, and vendors.
As a Project Manager (Sound Design), you'll:
- Assist the development of new process pipelines and tooling creation.
- Create and maintain process and training documentation.
- Develop, test, and maintain automated systems using proprietary tooling.
- Research new technologies to improve existing workflows.
- Facilitate driving projects to completion, including team-wide system and process initiatives such as training and onboarding programs.
- Monitor, track, and support multiple projects and initiatives, both internally and cross-functionally.
- Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with if-then statements
- Strong Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working in a task system such as Jira, Asana, Trello, etc.
- Knowledgeable in project management workflows
- Ability to to work independently on some projects while supporting others
- Capable of adapting communication to collaborate with teams across a variety of disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Scripting or programming experience (SQL, Python, and/or JavaScript)
- Experience unifying process pipelines across multiple teams and disciplines
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
Commitment: This is a full-time, 6-month contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be available to candidates who are local to the Fremont, CA; Los Angeles, CA; San Diego, CA; Denver, CO and Houston, TX areas.
