Brand Ambassador
Position Summary:
The Brand Ambassador is responsible for being the face of our brand and to promote our products through a variety of channels. We have built our brand by engaging in authentic personal relationships with customers. Handing someone a bit of a snickerdoodle ice cream sandwich is a great start that relationship. This position includes a few different ways that we reach our customers like handing out samples at local grocery stores, staffing our stand at corporate events, or packing up and sending out samples to superfans.
Thelma’s Story:
Thelma’s specializes in the production of cookie ice cream sandwiches and cookie dough. Thelma’s launched at the Des Moines Farmers’ Market in the spring of 2012 by Dereck (CEO) and his mom, Lana. They have grown to offer products at thousands of retailers throughout the country.
Essential Job Duties:
- Clearly communicate with Thelma’s team and customers to deliver on expectations.
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
- Maintain inventory of supplies needed for the tasks.
- Understands and practices proper sanitation procedures and ensures the work area is always clean and neat.
- Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
- Have a valid Driver's License
- Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
· Thoroughly understand our products and services to inform potential customers.
To Perform this job successfully:
- Must be physically able to perform light work, lifting 20 lbs.
- Must have the ability to work in a retail environment.
- The ability to work a part-time schedule, Thursday through Sunday.
- Have reliable transportation
- Timely completing all reports and forms
- Getting to, setting up, and breaking down the work / product demonstration area, and preparing the sampling of products during in-store demonstrations

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Experience:
- Brand Ambassadors & Demonstrators: 2 years (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
