TheraTree Pediatric Services, LLC is currently seeking a talented Billing and Collections Specialist to join our team. As a Healthcare Authorizations Specialist at TheraTree, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for accurately billing and collecting payments from patients and insurance companies

As a Healthcare Authorizations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the necessary therapy services by obtaining and tracking authorizations from insurance companies. Your attention to detail and knowledge of healthcare insurance policies will contribute to the success of our therapy programs and the well-being of our patients.

Daily Tasks

  • Obtain authorizations from insurance companies for therapy services
  • Track and manage authorization expirations and renewals
  • Coordinate with therapy team and insurance companies to ensure smooth authorization processes
  • Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding insurance coverage and authorizations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of authorizations and related documentation

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience working in healthcare authorizations or related field
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
