The Capital sales leader will lead the Instrument Sales Specialist team and work hand in hand with the Fisher Healthcare representative teams to develop plans, drive accountability and close capital instrument opportunities in their assigned territories.
Discover Impactful Work:
You'll be responsible for leading all instrument sales specialists to achieve revenue growth and profitability objectives by assisting in the development and adherence to each specialist's capital sales plan. You will also be responsible for crafting and implementing country-wide capital product strategies and tactical plans in line with the divisional and team goals. Ultimately, you are accountable for the performance of your assigned portfolio on a national basis and will be required to report out on your progress on a monthly and quarterly basis.
A day in the Life:
- Lead a specialist team to exceed capital instrument and reagent sales goals.
- Set the example on managing capital placements in collaboration with our field-based and inside sales teams through influence.
- Mentor your team to develop quarterly 30-60-90 day funnel activities for all instrument system platforms.
- Participate with Health Systems team members to support key instrument strategies at the GPO level.
- Drive salesforce.com utilization to ensure 100% adoption across all team members' opportunities and goals.
Keys to Success:
Education
- Bachelor's degree required in Life Science or closely related field.
Experience
- 10 years industry sales experience with growing responsibility required.
- 3 years in direct sales management required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Must have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and a proven track record working in a matrix environment.
- Ability to assess, attract, retain and develop personnel to meet performance expectations and fill future leadership roles.
- Possess a strong ability to analyze data to develop effective strategies and action plans.

The base salary range estimated for this position is $116,000 - $210,000. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable bonus (commission) based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
