With a keen understanding of laws, regulations and compliance as well as reporting requirements consistent with USGAAP, our Accounting and Controllership teams demonstrate innovative financial systems and controls, data security and robust processes to protect the company’s assets and support it’s short-and long-term growth on a global scale. From technical accounting to budgeting and forecasting to planning and reporting, you will build relationships with internal and external audit teams as well as key business partners to drive complex business decisions. You will have an opportunity to build strong organizational alliances to understand and mitigate risk, as well as capture opportunities and provide valuable support to all business stakeholder.

Seeking a proficient finance team member who will provide finance, accounting and compliance to the CCG business. The successful candidate will execute accounting, controls and compliance procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, consistent with USGAAP and local reporting requirements. In addition, the position holder will identify and recommend operational improvement opportunities, and support leadership in achieving of business objectives.

What you will do:

  • Perform monthly closing activities including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, reporting and analysis
  • Cross functional collaboration with various groups
  • Assist with standard costing and calculation of monthly reevaluation
  • Assist with calculation of Purchase Price Variations and Inflation
  • Ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, company policy, approval authority matrix and standard operating procedure; recommends changes to strengthen control environment

  • Executes sophisticated accounting treatment and prepares financial statements and supplementary reporting

  • Supports internal and external audit requirements

  • Exercise sound data stewardship - following data policies (retention, privacy, security) and detailing procedures

  • Drives continuous improvement and uses systems to increase controls and efficiencies

  • Listens proactively and collaborates across functional lines

  • Ensures effective data security and controls within ERP, financial systems, and data flows

  • Other ad-hoc duties as required and/or assigned

  • How you will get here:

Education

  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting is required

Experience

  • Minimum of 2/5 years of finance and accounting experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent understanding of financial accounting standards and internal controls
  • Ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and strong finance acuity
  • Proficient user of Excel; experience with Oracle (or equivalent), Mainframe, PowerPoint, and Hyperion is desired
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Takes personal accountability for decisions and actions
  • Challenges the status quo. Introduces and proactively seeks out new insights and solutions to strengthen our performance.

Travel requirements

• Less than 25% domestic/international travel required
