ThermoGenesis Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: THMO), is a pioneer and market leader in the development and commercialization of automated cell processing technologies for the cell and gene therapy field. ThermoGenesis Corp., a subsidiary of ThermoGenesis Holdings, Inc., markets a full suite of solutions for automated clinical biobanking, point-of-care applications, and large-scale cell processing and manufacturing for the emerging CAR-T immunotherapy market.
We are seeking dedicated and highly motivated Ph.D. candidates for the role of Principal Scientist on our Scientific Affairs team. This position will be responsible for driving preclinical research in the field of cell and gene therapies, which includes but not limited to concept development, assay development, process validation, and compilation of study reports. The successful candidate will have the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in cell biology, immunology, or other life science disciplines with at least 5-8 years of professional experience.
- In-depth knowledge of human cell biology and highly proficient with cell culture and analytical techniques, and knowledge in flow-cytometry.
- Possess strong skillsets in concept development, assay development, process validation, and compilation of study report.
- Process a rigid scientific training background with strong hands-on experience.
- Strong scientific written communication skills with a demonstrated record of scientific writing, white papers, posters, and publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Ability to write and review internal protocols and reports to support preclinical and clinical R&D projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to adapt communications to your audience.
Highly Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and past experiences with GMP and other GXP regulatory guideline and policies
- Experience in human cell biology, immunology, hematology, and cancer biology
- Industrial process development skills
- Previous team leading skills are preferred
