Role Description:
The ideal candidate is experienced in product development, production and sourcing, and is excited to support this phase of the business where product portfolio expansion and supply chain diversification are key strategic initiatives.
The Work You’ll Do:
- Lead productivity initiatives across PD suppliers and materials
- Manage resolution of issues with suppliers as it relates to quality concerns that may arise from inspection failures, production issues affecting delivery schedules, and pricing and invoice discrepancies
- Work cross functionally with our Creative, Merchandising, Planning, Operations, Customer Experience and Marketing teams to take products from idea to launch
- Support sourcing initiatives and onboarding new product vendors
- Support budgeting process for Product Development
- Manage PD timelines and development calendars, while ensuring all cross-functional teams have, at any given time, the most up-to-date status of each project
- Manage product testing and certification/validation process
- Build and manage trackers, specifications, fabric profiles
- Manage BOM setup and process
- Review prototypes from each sampling stage to ensure design and quality meets standards. Review final inspection samples and advise corrective action plans if needed
- Constantly strive to improve existing products based on customer feedback

- You have strong organization skills with special attention to detail. You have experience managing multiple product development projects autonomously. You understand the need for a systematic approach to managing a product portfolio, specifications, trackers and timelines.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in Product Development, Production and Sourcing roles
- Experience with product development process building and implementation
- Experience with overseas vendors and manufacturing partners is preferred
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong passion for building and maintaining relationships with cross-functional counterparts, stakeholders and vendors
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and budget goals
- Technical capability and sensibility for product and creative problem solving
- Knowledge of line plans and T&A Calendar, WIP and Pivot reports
- Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite and Google applications
- Experience in project management and tools a plus
