What you will do
Imagine waking up each day knowing you are part of a team that supports the growth and empowerment of our team members. The HR Administrator will be the trusted executor of our policies and processes guiding our purpose of REAL food daily. This individual provides real-time, accurate information to our people and partners, all with the intention of keeping our business compliant and our people well-cared for.
- Provides administrative support on functions for assigned locations, including but not limited to; benefits, workers’ compensation, leaves of absence (FMLA & LOA), job descriptions, ATS & HRIS administration, support apps, and exit interviews.
- Assists with benefits and 401(k) administration and enrollment for new hires as well as the annual open enrollment process.
- Coordinates HR/Onboarding processes, including (but not limited to) drug testing, medical testing (e.g., TB), background checks, and new hire orientation.
- Maintains regular communication with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a seamless transition from candidate to employee.
- Protects the interests of employees and the company by following Human Resources policies and applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
- Partners with HR leadership to assist in revising policies.
- Assists in answering benefit and leave-related questions.
- Maintains electronic employee files and uploads documents.
- Assists with monitoring and reviewing referrals and other bonus programs.
- Reviews and posts job ads on the applicant tracking system and other job boards as needed and ensures accuracy.
- Monthly invoice reconciliation for HR-related vendors.
- Guides new hires and hiring managers with navigating system issues related to new hire onboarding, benefits, and other HR systems.
- Supports and assists in the creation of recruiting branding and advertising initiatives.
- Attend and assist with hiring events as needed.
- New hiring manager recruiting and system training (UKG, Paradox, etc.)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you will need
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Human Resources or a related field.
- SRHM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other HR certification preferred.
- Minimum of three years' experience in an HR Coordinator or higher role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and focus on details.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to thoroughly understand the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to quickly learn and accurately use new and/or existing recruiting and HRIS platforms/software.
- Builds and develops internal and external relationships; creates partnerships, builds trust, shares ideas, and accomplishes work quickly and efficiently.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
