About the Role:
Our client is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join a growing team. This role will support three unique businesses owned by the same individual: a dance/yoga studio, a spa treatment facility, and a boutique advertising agency. The Accountant will work primarily out of the advertising agency but will also travel to the other locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform General Ledger (GL) accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely entries
- Track and manage inventory
- Prepare and book journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions
- Manage invoicing, ensuring proper billing and timely payments
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure documentation is up-to-date
- Provide financial reports and insights to business owners
- Collaborate with various teams across all three companies to ensure smooth financial operations
- Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting preferred; Finance or General Business accepted)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in GL accounting
- Experience with inventory management and tracking is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel to various business locations as needed
- Experience with booking journal entries and investigating discrepancies
- Experience with invoicing
- Experience with tracking inventory
- Strong communication skills to work with different teams across multiple businesses
