What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Order Management Specialist position at Thomas Foods International USA?
HIRING IMMEDIATELY $$ $1,500. SIGN ON BONUS $$
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- First point of contact with foodservice / retail accounts, providing strong customer service
- Work closely with Sales managers on all customer accounts to help build sales as a team
- Responsible for account margin management through accurate pricing and tracking
- Manage the input of foodservice / retail orders with the Orders team ensuring 100% accuracy of products, quantity, pricing, deliveries, etc.
- Attend market condition meetings and sales meetings to build market knowledge
- Assist with customer visits and attend customer meetings as necessary
- Manage CRM software and utilize for customer relationship management
- Work with a daily customer call list / checking historic data to ensure market share
- Manage Broadline Distributors with day-to-day coverage. Communicate with buyers on a weekly basis
- Work closely with Transportation team to ensure their awareness of delivery needs and delivery date changes
- Manage customer credits and billing deductions along with sales managers
- Assist with creating SHR’s for all orders being processed at the Swedesboro facility
- Communicate any packaging concerns, shortages, overages, QC issues, etc. to sales members and customers
- Work closely with Customer Service team to assist with order fulfillment, troubleshooting, reallocations, etc.
- Forward final order confirmations once order is entered and/or shipped along with all back-up PO documentation to billing department daily
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope and abilities as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
· Ability to clearly speak, read, and write in English
· Excellent computer skills
· Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
· Experience with documenting editing
· Quick learner who takes constructive criticism well
· Excels as a team player
· Ability to respond to a large influx of emails daily
· Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
· Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
· Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Understand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and procedure set forth by Thomas Foods International, USA
