What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Mechanic position at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health?
To perform minor adjustments, repairs and inspections to equipment and facilities in a timely manner to customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Make minor repairs to plumbing fixtures, traps and piping.
- Replace defective electrical outlets, switches, ballasts, lens and lamps.
- Replace filters as needed to HVAC equipment.
- Inspect and test medical gas outlets.
- Maintain records as required.
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the University.
High School or GED
Technical School preferred
