- Master of Reconciliation: No financial puzzle is too complex for you. You'll tackle reconciliations with ease, ensuring harmony between premiums receivable and general ledger accounts, as well as investments and portfolio manager reporting
- Strategic Partner: Collaborate closely with our team to prepare annual audited statutory financial statements and regulatory filings. Your insights will be invaluable as we navigate the intricate landscape of financial compliance
- Innovative Problem Solver: Ready to roll up your sleeves and tackle any challenge? From ad-hoc projects to assisting with state tax filing record keeping, your proactive approach will drive continuous improvement across our finance operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access
- Demonstrated experience with modern accounting software, showcasing your ability to navigate and utilize advanced financial tools effectively
- Insurance experience
- 1-5 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance, demonstrating your expertise and adaptability in financial operations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, providing you with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for success in this role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders
- Strong analytical abilities, allowing you to dissect complex financial data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations to support strategic decision-making
