VICE PRESIDENT, EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE OFFICER

Thomaston Savings Bank has a position opening for an Employee Experience Officer within its Human Resources area. Thomaston Savings Bank has a solid history of providing both residential and commercial banking services throughout western CT. It has 150 years of successful history and prides itself on being "Refreshingly Different Banking". The Employee Experience Officer reports to the EVP/CFO and is responsible for:

  • Initiating and implementing a workforce experience strategy aligned with the business goals.
  • Creating a culture of exceptional employee engagement.
  • Implementing an ongoing community focus as the "face" of the organization.
  • Applying recruitment and retention best practices to augment current talent and identify future talent.
  • Managing the training function in order to continuously develop employee skills.

Key requirements for the position:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the strategic aspects of Human Resources with an emphasis on legendary employee engagement.
  • A proven level of success in managing and developing employees.
  • Successful design and implementation of an inclusive organization culture.
  • Successful results in both the recruiting and retention of key talent.
  • Experience in onboarding employees.
  • Well developed skills in Conflict Resolutions, Communications, Emotional Intelligence, Change Management and Initiative.
  • Previous work experience need not be in banking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $111,605.00 - $148,807.00 per year
