Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations of the retail store
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Train and supervise retail staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
- Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with visual merchandising and product displays
- Process sales transactions and handle cash register duties
- Assist with staff performance evaluations and provide feedback
Experience:
- Previous experience as an assistant manager in a retail setting is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee, bartending, banquet, hotel, catering, or food production is a plus
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and other retail software
