Staff Accountant Role Open / Hybrid / Des Moines/Urbandale, Iowa
This position is for a Staff Accountant I located in Urbandale, with an expected duration of 6 months. The hourly rate is $24/hr- $25/hr with flexible hours from 7:00 to 3:30, starting between 8:00 and 9:00. This is an onsite position requiring attendance 6 days a month, with anchor days on Thursday and every other Monday. The interview process consists of 1 interview with the Hiring Manager (HM) and a few team members. The ideal start date is ASAP, and there is no specific educational requirement, but candidates should have at least 2 years' experience in an accounting office. Parking is plentiful.

Duties
- Apply Fees and Commission cash receipts across multiple entities.
- Address inquiries from stakeholders across multiple lines of business.
- Partner with team members to develop process efficiencies.
- Create and maintain relationships with stakeholders for accurate and timely cash receipt application.
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong research skills.
- Good organizational skills and teamwork.
