The Workforce Coordinator is responsible for the flawless execution of building a trained and productive workforce to achieve our scheduled volume efficiency and member service goals.
We are looking for a seasoned HR professional with operations experience to help build the strategy and subsequent execution of Thrive Market’s labor workforce needs, including successful and consistent onboarding, training, and development of Thrive Market employees.
- Ensure daily shift labor needs are met
- Oversee associate attendance tracking and reporting to leadership
- Coach and counsel associates on assignment generation
- Assess and identify training and developmental needs to enhance operational efficiency
- Develop a comprehensive training and development program inclusive of a training course syllabus, materials, and content for all areas of the fulfillment center
- Conduct group presentations
- Schedule and conduct new hire orientation to ensure all new hires are informed of company policies, procedures, expectations, company culture, benefits, etc.
- Develop an onboarding plan to improve new hires’ onboarding experience
- Oversee the temp to hire conversion process while ensuring that attendance, performance, safety, and quality standards are met
- Partner with Management to assist in the development and rollout of a retention strategy
- Compile and analyze HR data and make recommendations related to hiring and retaining staff.
- Responsible for periodic follow up with new hires to ensure they have the necessary tools, resources, equipment, and training to perform their job effectively
- Partner with fulfillment leadership to develop a complete library of SOPS, quick access cards, and one-point lessons
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS/AAS required (or related study preferred)
- Experience in a similar warehouse environment or a combination of education-training and experience will be considered
- Bilingual (in Spanish) a plus
- Proven record of strategic partnerships which enhance the employee experience
- Excellent written, verbal, public presentation /communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required
- Experience using Google Documents and Excel at a proficient level
- Able to work effectively with a wide range of personnel
- Strong employee leadership background
- The position will require flexibility and support across various shifts to accommodate training and business needs
