Crossroads Animal Emergency is seeking a full-time Doctor's Assistant to help support
their team!
This position will work late swing or overnight shifts. We are looking for full-time team
members who will work 10hour shifts.

Crossroads Animal Emergency is an emergency veterinary hospital in Norwalk, CA. This is a
wonderful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pets and pet owners during an
animal emergency and broaden your skillset and experience in the veterinary field.
Some responsibilities include:
- Create and present financial estimates and treatment plans
- Guide clients through check-in, discharge, check out
- Handle financial transactions
- Effectively resolve client questions via phone and email
- Take ownership in building trust and relationships with clients
- Maintain patient records
- Work closely with our medical teams to ensure a positive outcome at each visit
- Help owners through the humane euthanasia process if that is the treatment option for their
pet.
- Fill medications and review discharge information with owners for at-home care and follow
up.
Our ideal new team members have:
- Minimum of 2 years in a veterinarian setting
- Veterinary Assistant or Technician skills highly preferred in this position
- A deep, genuine care for helping people
- Naturally empathetic and articulate communication
- A friendly and professional demeanor
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working with computer software
