JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Manager is a strategic advisor and HR expert who provides proactive and forward-thinking solutions to designated clients. This role requires the ability to deliver prompt tactical HR support across all areas of HR while working closely with clients to align tHRive's products and services with their strategic objectives. The ultimate goal of the HR Manager is to develop a trusted advisor relationship with clients by anticipating and identifying their HR needs, finding solutions, and driving positive change within their organizations.
As an HR Manager at tHRive, you will be responsible for providing exceptional HR services to our diverse client base. You will handle the day-to-day HR needs of various clients, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, implementing HR policies and procedures, and delivering strategic HR solutions to support their business objectives.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on all HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR analytics
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with clients' business goals and ensure fair and consistent treatment of employees
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' HR needs, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions
- Provide guidance and support to clients regarding performance management, including coaching managers on effective performance feedback and disciplinary actions, if necessary
- Develop customized HR solutions for each client
- Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws and regulations and proactively advise clients on compliance requirements to mitigate any potential legal risks
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal discrimination and employment regulations
- Foster strong client relationships with each client
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and develop actionable insights that drive strategic HR decisions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices
- Experience in handling a wide range of HR activities, from employee relations to talent acquisition and performance management
- Proficiency in using HR software and systems to manage HR processes and employee data

- Ability to function in a multi-task environment, as part of a team and alone on a broad variety of projects
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, delivering high-quality results within deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all HR-related activities
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information in a professional and ethical manner
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel periodically to clients
