RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise group of Full Time, Seasonal and Temporary workers.
- Develop weekly/daily workplan to ensure 100% completion of tasks.
- Communicate goals, wins, and opportunities to team.
- Coach and develop team members – Strive for team growth.
- Responsible for accuracy in picking and shipping, as well as outbound pallet integrity.
- Oversee prompt stock replenishment.
- Oversee LTL/FTL shipping and customer-specific routing processes.
- Responsible for accurate transfers to other Thule facilities.
- Close the building and report status for the following day.
- Drive safe work practices and safety culture.
- Operate various lift trucks in order to move product through the distribution process.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards on the dock and throughout the warehouse.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
RECOMMENDED POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience required.
- 3 or more years leadership experience.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – specifically Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of basic Excel formulas and sorting functions preferred.
- Knowledge of Over-the-road shipping (LTL, FTL).
- Experience in a WMS/barcoded warehouse environment Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to jump in and lead by example.
- Ability to lead and direct employees by giving detailed instruction.
- Must be well organized, able to work independently as well as in a team environment with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand all day.
- Must be able to drive various forktrucks to assist in moving materials.
