What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager position at Thunder Child?
JOB DESCRIPTION / SCOPE OF WORK
We’re building a team of staff to assist guests as they experience Mexican Geniuses: An Immersive Frida and Diego Experience to Washington, DC.
Manager
Coordinating rehearsals and assisting in staff training with Fever
Developing and running a process for the set up before shows, as well as the reset of the venue after the last show
Coordinating shows and optimizing the use of staff on-site
Solving problems and handling special requests with guests and staff
Coordination of Private Shows and maintaining daily VIP guest lists
Ensure staff is timely and performing well while helping to keep morale high
Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the venue, especially all COVID-related safety procedures
Pay and procure emergency purchases, setting up a coordinated system for storage and handling of any stock on-site
Oversee Merchandise manager and Bar manager on-site, acting as a direct liaison for Fever in the venue
Coordination of schedules & invoicing of staff members
Performing outreach to local groups (universities, cultural groups, etc.)*
Pitching ideas to Fever management to increase ticket sales and maintain a rating above 4.5 stars
Reporting on daily issues to the Fever Project Manager
Sending comprehensive end-of-week reports to the Fever Project Manager
Knowledge of digital tools as Slack and/or Square will be a plus (not required)
Any experience with Virtual Reality headsets will be valuable

Conclusion: January 1, 2023
Pay: $25.00/HR *TBD ‘finders fee’
Must be available for training ahead of the experience opening (included in dates above)
Shows (subject to change):
Tuesday to Thursday: From 10am to 7pm
Friday and Sunday: From 10am to 8pm
Saturday: From 10am to 8:30pm
