Essential Functions
Reads production schedule and determines material requirements for production
Moves materials and containers from storage or work sites to designated areas to meet requirements of production schedule
Identifies materials and containers with suitable tags or labels
Cleans work areas, machines, and equipment to assist operators
Loads loose materials into hoppers and containers
Mixes materials according to product requirements
Performs other duties that may be assigned.
Work Experience
1 to 2 years
Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Frequently required walking and reaching with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to climb or balance
Able to operate forklift
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts
Frequently required lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
Frequently required standing, walking and reaching with hands and arms
Ability to use hand tools
