As an experienced Public Cloud Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Cloud Automation and Delivery team and you'll bring in expertise in the cloud strategy, designing and engineering tailored solution and migration of numerous large-scale projects in the cloud. This role will demonstrate a combination of strong expertise with development of cloud automation capabilities, building out and enabling full stack use cases / patterns, accelerate cloud delivery and drive cloud adoption. Some of the key pillars you would be driving hands-on are platform modernization, cloud automation and cloud adoption, security and resiliency across multi-cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, Azure.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, operate, and lead multiple complex cloud automation features, cloud-native application patterns / full stack blueprints, cloud onboarding, cloud adoption, and exposing services to business teams.
- Engineer and maintain scalable and resilient Public Cloud solutions following cloud native design principals.
- Engage and collaborate with development and engineering teams to understand use-cases, challenges, design architecturally sound & operationally efficient solutions and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive enhanced customer experiences and accelerate cloud adoption
- Strategize and guide various teams on the standards and best practices related to the Public Cloud on-boarding process and assist with migrating to public cloud while meeting all regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Design, implement, scale, and optimize automated cloud provisioning processes.
- Automate repetitive and manual activities via programmatic solutions and drive the implementation of operational processes while driving their adoption.
- Assist with migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud.
- Function as a subject matter expert in public cloud automation and adoption.
- Champion making public cloud more accessible for every stakeholder by focusing on engineering enablement.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of hands-on experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS or GCP
- 1 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing cloud automation, configuration management, and deployment of enterprise-scale infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Ansible, and Python.
- Excellent understanding and experience with cloud foundational services, Identity & Access Management & cloud governance
- Broad experience using languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript and/or node.js
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Cloud Certification or Google Cloud Certification is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud adoption framework, well architected framework, account organization and multi-account architecture
- Familiarity with principles of network, application, and information security.
Base Pay Range: $103,700/yr. $172,900/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
