Overview
Ticket Boat, Inc is one of the country’s largest secondary market ticket sellers and commodities traders. Ticket Boat is seeking to hire a Help Desk Specialist as the growth of the organization continues. The ideal candidate finds joy in helping people with their technology issues. This specialist position is an in-office opportunity which will cover multiple aspects of IT support within the main corporate office in Mission, KS, as well as for remote employees and contractors.
Work Schedule: This specialist can be either Full-time or Part-Time. A Full-time employee will work 40 hours a week and will have one weekend shift. A Part-time employee will need to be available Wednesday-Friday from 4:00pm-8:00pm and from 8:00am-12:00pm for one weekend shift
Responsibilities
- Conduct IT on-boarding for new hires, service computers, and provide remote assistance.
- Work with staff to utilize available tools to address productivity needs and workflow efficiencies.
- Assist in the creation, documentation, and maintenance of IT policies and standard operating procedures.
- Provide help desk support within the ticketing system.
- Quickly respond to staff inquiries regarding security concerns, technology outages, user account management and network connectivity.
- Assist in new equipment requests with staff and management.
- Ensure all laptops and desktops are fully patched.
- Maintain and update inventory for IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with software and hardware.
- Assist with maintenance of software upgrades for phones and computers.
- Provide support for mobile devices.
- Add/modify/remove user permissions.
- Manage and support network printers, label printers, copiers and scanners.
- All other duties as assigned or required during an emergency, including some after-hours work assisting with system access needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or GED
- 0 - 1 year of related experience
- Multi-tasker with a positive energy
- Must be able to problem solve and organize tasks
- Take initiative and work efficiently to meet deadlines
- Very comfortable with researching online troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite of Products
- Familiarity with Hardware and Software Troubleshooting
