Internship Duration: June 2023 - August 2023

Summary:

Provides administrative support to the HR Manager on various personnel matters including, but not limited to, recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations. This position will also support Office Services.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or working towards Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or similar degree.

  • Computer literate, prior experience with an HRIS database preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit – schedule phone screens, interviews, gather feedback, perform reference checks, and attend career fairs.
  • Coordinate and support ongoing HR initiatives and events
  • Provide HR support by answering employee requests and questions
  • Assist HR Manager with New Hire Orientations and trainings
  • Participate in agency staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars
  • General administrative duties – filing, collecting/processing paperwork, making copies, etc.
  • Assist HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects
  • May be asked to help with facilities requests, as needed – ie mailroom, setting up conference rooms for meetings, covering the reception desk, etc.
