What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager of Personalization position at Tiffany?
The Manager of Personalization is responsible for the areas of Etching, Standard Engraving, Embossing, Embroidery, Hand Engraving, Product Services, Custom Servicing, and the Home-to-Home process, and for achieving timely and accurate customization of Tiffany items as orders from all sales channels, within budget by planning and managing operational activities. They are required to develop continuous improvement initiatives and consistency by partnering with external departments and sharing best practices with team members including international locations. They support and implement new global servicing strategies. They are responsible for ensuring high level of employee engagement and morale, while also being exemplary in conduct and values. Responsible for everyday safety and initiatives, addressing system challenges, and overall housekeeping within the departments.
What You'll Do:
- Inspire and Align and Agile Team to Win – Participate in setting strategy for operation and implement said strategy. Develop, implement, enforce and evaluate SOP’s and policy using techniques and process improvement strategies. Lead and participate in inter-departmental meetings partnering with department heads to build synergies fostering communication, cooperation and teamwork. Plan and manage distribution workflow meeting existing KPI’s within budget. Implement strategies that commit to providing a positive, safe work experience for our employees.
- Strengthen Our Competitive Advantage – Plan and manage distribution activities within budget. Monitor established KPI’s while providing outstanding service to internal and external clients by ensuring turn times are met or exceeded.
- Cultivate a More Efficient Operating Model – Coach, develop, motivate and cultivate staff. Provide ongoing feedback fostering growth and sustained improvement. Create an environment of diversity that ensures a high level of employee engagement by promoting an environment of open communication.
- Administrative Functions - Maintain and update documentation such as audit controls, Business Continuity plans, personnel files, SOP's, job descriptions, performance management etc. Ensure policies and procedures are maintained and the department and team members are operating and performing in compliance. Provide proactive safety and health leadership by recognizing and rewarding employees who demonstrate good safety and health behaviors and providing immediate, specific and constructive feedback to employees who violate safety requirements or demonstrate unsafe work behavior. Identify workplace hazards, investigate incidents, educate all direct reports on established safety requirements and ensure on going compliance with applicable safety related policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
Nontraditional working hours; detail oriented and well organized; problem solving skills; social skills; must comply with all policies including safety and security; three years of managerial experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
College diploma, a working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, Supply Chain and Logistics Education or Certification
