WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
We are seeking an Office Manager to take ownership of all operational, functional, and cultural aspects of our new office space in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte. This person will play a vital role in building culture and ensuring smooth operations for the Charlotte team, reporting to our Chief Administrative Officer and joining an Administrative team of five.
Notably, this person will be critical in establishing the new office space which we will be moving into shortly. We need someone who is highly organized, results-oriented, and growth minded with a strong attention to detail. For someone who succeeds in owning the office management function, there is an opportunity to grow beyond office management into a broader administrative role supporting Charlotte-based executives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design the office environment to manifest company values and culture as well as optimize for operational efficiency
- Foster a strong, positive culture by organizing team-building activities and promoting a collaborative work environment
- Take pride in the space you create and proactively identify and solve for operational inefficiencies
- Manage property management company and other office space vendors
- Own employee parking solutions
- Coordinate office guest visits and greet on arrival
- Order groceries and office supplies on a regular basis
- Receive and distribute office mail and packages
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of work experience in an office management, administrative, HR or related capacity
- Creative problem solving abilities and a can-do attitude
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a genuine interest in connecting with team members
- Location in Charlotte, NC and a willingness to be in the office every day
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE:
The expected starting salary range for this position is between $50,000 - $70,000. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
