SWAG Specialist

We are searching for an inside sales and Swag Specialist, to expand our growing sales team. We have a team of 10-12 salespeople with clients who buy many of the items that we started offering last year. Most of these items are from different vendors who produce them and we are a part of two organizations in which these vendors are members. The number of vendors is in 1000’s and this could become a multi-million gross annual sale within a few years. We are hiring a person who will be able to negotiate with vendors, present items to clients, and help the sales team sell promo items. You will also be trained to sell printed products as well. We have designed the Inside Sales position to provide the security of salary and full benefits for first few years, while you are building your own client base. Once you build a strong customer base, your salary will drive from your total sales and you will have the flexibility to manage your own time and activities. A successful candidate is expected to make 6-digit salary within 3 years with great benefits and flexible schedule. Your salary grows as you build more clients, and/or process more orders! You earn additional salary based on your own sales and also the orders you process for our Sr. sales team.

The successful candidate will possess the following: – Must be a college graduate – 4-year degree or equivalent – Great Communication skills, written and oral – Great with marketing and sales – Working Knowledge of computers and MS Office – Good on the phone – Great people skills are a must – organized and detail-oriented. You must also be creative, a self-starter, and be willing to do what it takes to succeed.

You will work directly with our VP of business development and learn all aspects of our business. You will deal with customers, contact leads, go on sales calls, and process orders.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify new customers
• Build relationships with some existing clients as well as new prospects.
• Prospect new customers through lead generation, trade shows, follow-up, and cold calling
• Search and identify appropriate Swags for customers.
• Negotiate prices and terms with vendors, write accurate POs, and place orders
• Assist Sr Sales Reps with entering their orders into our POS system, and follow through the completion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years’ experience is Sales or Customer Service

Salary: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
