SUMMARY:
The following is a brief description of responsibilities to be performed by the Marketing Manager. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and implement key marketing opportunities for stores with the goal to drive traffic, sales and increase brand awareness.
- Assist Strategic Partnerships and Brand Relations
- Work closely with Store Ops and the field to provide marketing tools to increase sales.
- Build and maintain network through targeted outreach and project planning
- Event Management for both consumer and employee facing activations
- Handle Tillys Grassroots Marketing
- Run point on Tillys WeCare School Initiatives
- Work close with Tillys Social Media team for Partnership Opportunities
- Oversee marketing budget
- Oversee omni-channel marketing strategy
- Oversee marketing of Tillys Rewards loyalty program
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in managing brand partnerships
- Good understanding and experience in Marketing for Youth Lifestyle and retail industry
- Strong understanding of retail culture
- Proficient in the use of Excel and MS Word, Photoshop, Illustrator and Mac
- Ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities listed above
- Must have experience with social media marketing and internet
- Detail oriented and organized
- Able to effectively use common office equipment
- Ability to reprioritize projects frequently
- Must have ability to multitask
- Independent, self-motivated, team player
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management
- Exceptional communication skills, including presenting and training abilities
- Ability to cultivate team environment
- Creative mind, with prior success in driving the creative process
- Lives and represents the Tillys Brand
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or related field is preferred.
- High School Diploma required.
- Previous in-store and digital marketing experience required
- Previous experience with catalogs preferred
- Strong leadership/management skills
