Timber Oaks Lawn & Landscaping is currently looking to hire an experienced seasonal Lawn Care Crew Leader. Candidates must be experienced with residential and commercial lawn mowing, able to work with minimal supervision, as part of a team, and direct activities of two or more team members.
Our company is fast growing!! We are located in Vassar, MI and service all of the Thumb, including Frankenmuth & Birch Run areas.
Lawn Care Crew Leader Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Train, supervise, assess, and coach lawn team members to meet and exceed customer service and production requirements for new and existing customers.
- Use mowers, weed eaters, and common hand tools to trim grass, edge lawn areas, and other lawn maintenance.
- Drive company vehicle and trailer to various locations and ensure proper storage of equipment during transport. Fuel equipment as necessary.
- Train and strictly enforce all safety procedures and policies.
- Schedule, track, and report daily production for crews.
- Assist in training and teaching team members to follow procedures and processes in an orderly manner.
- Maintain customer relationships, while resolving their concerns and making service recommendations.
- Keeping shop and yard area organized.
- Maintain a fleet of vehicles and safely transport equipment on trailers as needed. Perform equipment checks as required.

Lawn Care Crew Leader Candidate Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License/Chauffeur's required.
- 2 years' experience in lawn care is preferred.
- Ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds and bend, lift, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work/lead in team environment.
- Ability to work extended hours including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, maintaining energy and pace along with the team.
- Ability to safely operate equipment such as mowers, weed whips, etc.
- Mechanically inclined.
