What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at Timberlake & Dickson, Inc.?
The ideal candidate will generate sales of commercial and light industrial HVAC and Plumbing equipment by fostering relationships with existing clients and by prospecting and performing cold-calls with design engineers, contractors, building engineers, and building owners in their assigned territory (Central/South Texas).
Responsibilities will include:
- Identifying leads, managing prospects, and acquiring new business
- Servicing existing clients
- Effectively promoting product lines and applying solutions to customers’ challenges
- Managing all aspects of closed/won opportunities
- Meeting established goals for territory development and sales quotas
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction sciences, or equivalent experience is required
- 4 years' experience in HVAC outside sales is required with strong track record of success
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies is required
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills are required
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- Must have relevant experience in the Central/South Texas market (Austin/San Antonio), and should have familiarity with key clients in the subject territory
