The Machining Associate is a member of the production team responsible for ensuring all machined parts are accurately produced and meet all quality expectations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to read and accurately comprehend written work orders and drawings.
- Can operate various types of machines
- Accurately report and record job time
- Understand fractions and decimals.
- Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards.
- Ensure proper housekeeping activities are maintained daily.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 2 years’ experience
- Keen eye for quality
- Have superior math skills
- Know how to read tape measures and calipers
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks regularly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
