What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Planner position at Timpte Inc?
The Materials Planner will analyze and establish all material requirements for all forecasted demand. Execute, maintain, modify and track all orders and signals to direct material suppliers for manufacturing and/or distribution center direct materials. Analyze assigned supplier lead-times and identify critical path components for manufacturing and / or distribution centers. Establish and build relationships with assigned direct material suppliers.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
• Must possess a bachelor’s degree or minimum of three years planning experience from a manufacturing facility
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written format.
• Must have working knowledge of MRP/ERP business software as well as Microsoft Office Programs; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams.
• A strong analytical mindset and outstanding organizational skills.
• Knowledge of market trends, data analysis and purchasing best practices including maintaining confidentiality of privileged information.
• Periodic travel may be required
