Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Specialist to join our team. As a Parts Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing, procurement, and inventory of parts for our company. Your role will involve working closely with the supply chain management team, as well as providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery
- Utilize the order management system to track and process parts orders
- Source parts from various suppliers and vendors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with the supply chain management team to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts
- Assist in the procurement management process, including negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to parts
- Collaborate with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to ensure availability of required parts
- Coordinate with internal teams to fabricate or customize parts as needed
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records of parts inventory
Skills:
- Knowledge of shipping receiving processes and procedures
- Able to use order management systems for tracking and processing orders
- Excellent sourcing skills, with the ability to identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Accurate data entry skills to maintain organized records
