Title: Prep Cook
Reports to: Assistant kitchen Manager/Kitchen Manager
As Prep Cook, your responsibilities would include:
- Reading a Prep Sheet
- Following recipe guidelines of Tippy Canoes
- Keeping the walk-in cooler clean and organized
- Using equipment properly
- Following Storage and rotation procedures
- Following Proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Basic knife cutting skills
- Ability to help out in other areas as necessary
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Six months of recent kitchen experience, preferred
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for more than 8 hours
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Works well in a team environment
