The Opportunity
TMG Wall Systems is a commercial drywall contractor specializing in drywall installation and finishing along with ancillary services that complement the GWB scope of work; metal stud framing, ACT, paint and other finishes. Our core competency is in multi-family housing and mixed-use developments. Types of projects include hotels, multi-plex apartments, mixed use, condo bldgs., senior living centers, similar.
We are seeking someone that has an entrepreneurial spirit wit h a desire to start a new division that focuses in the following types of projects: Commercial; schools; public works; TI's; exterior finishes
Job Summary:
The Sr PM will be responsible for managing the Commercial & TI division within TMG, growing the division from the ground-up. Types of projects include Tenant improvements; Schools; Public works; Community. Any commercial jobs other than hotel/hospitality; Multi Family; Condos; Residential.
Type of work Performed by TMG & Managed by the Sr PM:
Steel stud framing, drywall, taping/finishing, texture, paint, ACT/suspended systems, insulation, door frames, FRP.
Responsibilities:
Job duties include Identify projects for bid, manage estimates and bids, track and negotiate customers and contracts; Manage subcontracts, employee rates, change orders and claims/disputes; calculating budgets and schedules; selecting appropriate construction methods for the job and budget; explaining contracts and technical information to employees and subcontractors; supervising construction personnel and activities onsite; developing work-arounds for delays and other problems; general manage all projects within its division from concept to completion and closeout. The Sr PM will hire PMs, PEs, workers and subcontractors for the specific project(s) as the division grows, as well as making sure the project meets all safety requirements set forth by TMG.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, employees and TMG management under his/her supervision.
Manage the overall schedule (all project schedules). Ensure our clients (General Contractors, otherwise) are pleased with our performance on the jobsite.
Help field managers analyze and manage productivity of employees.
Manage the foreman and employees and subs that the foreman supervises.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
College degree (Masters, Bachelors or AA) in a related subject (Project Mgmt; Construction
Mgmt; Business Mgmt; Engineering; Finance) is a plus.
Construction and Project management of 3 years or more. Qualifying positions for relatedexperience includes Project Engr, Project Manager, Superintendent, Foreman, Estimator, Project Executive, General Manager, other related
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk large projects for an extended period of time. Applicant will be required to check in on large projects that are several stories high with only stair access. The projects are sprawling and require a fitness level to access and review construction sites.
Salary:
Pay is DOE and will include a bonus structure linked to profitability performance of the division.
