What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Solutions Architect position at TML Health?
SUMMARY
The Salesforce Architect & Developer is responsible for senior-level design and development of TML Health’s Salesforce solutions. The Salesforce Architect & Developer will be hands-on as the lead developer for implementing TML Health’s CRM solutions in addition to leading the architectural design of the organization’s broad adoption of the Salesforce platform to manage sales and service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the IT Development Manager and internal customers to develop strategic plans for the organization’s Salesforce solutions.
- Lead business process design activities, including company setup, marketing campaign, lead, opportunity and quote management, customer service and support management business processes.
- Configure Salesforce.com to address business requirements, recommending best practices.
- Architect integrations between internal applications and Salesforce.com.
- Build reports, saved searches, and dashboards that provide comprehensive and actionable business intelligence.
- Coordinate with external consulting companies to enable faster delivery of Salesforce solutions.
- Manages Salesforce environments and releases per industry best practices.
- Maintains systems to protect data from unauthorized users.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of the software development practices needed to develop and support Salesforce-based solutions.

- Configuring Salesforce Custom Objects
- Developing Software using Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL), and
- Integrating Salesforce with other platforms and data sources.

- Ability to apply critical thinking and strategic thought.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field
Preferred
- Salesforce certification, with architect certifications (Application Architect or System Architect level) highly preferred.
- Two years of experience in a health care payer environment.
