Purpose of Position: Under the supervision of the Service Manager, the Service Coordinator is responsible for receiving service work from the customer and communicating with the technician and customer through completion of the repair, including completion of the invoice.

Essential Job Functions:
· Communicates with the customer to understand their needs.
· Writes the customers needs where the foreman and technician can clearly understand.
· Creates work orders.
· Creates repair estimates based on technician’s diagnosis.
· Communicates repair needs to customer and obtains approval for repairs.
· Completes invoice and obtains Purchase Order.
· Closes repair orders.
· Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills/ Abilities:
· Ability to read, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
· Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
· Must have basic understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Education:
· One-year certificate from college or technical school.
Preferred Experience:
· Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
