What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at TOASTIQUE?
The Assistant Manager works directly with the General Manager to ensure he/she is up to date with any new administrations to the store. Assistant Managers also works closely with shift leads as well as team members making sure food quality and excellent customer service is met. They are also responsible for the day to day ordering when the General Manager is not present.
The Assistant Manager helps the General Manager with the schedule and training of new team members. They are responsible for taking inventory and communicating with the General Manager to let them know whenever something is running low. The Assistant Manager helps set the tone for each day, providing a positive upbeat attitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Communicate with the General Manager as well as shift leads ensuring a smooth daily operation
· Placing orders when the General Manger isn’t present
· Assists the General Manager in creating the schedule
· Enforcing and upholding Toastique’s rules and standards
· Ensure each station has everything it needs to operate during business hours
· Step in to help solve customer issues
· Help complete and delegate tasks the General Manager assigns
· Assist General Manager in fulfilling catering orders
· Make sure team members are correctly making toasts, smoothies, bowls, etc.
· Assist with training and teaching new employees
REQUIREMENTS:
· 2 years of Hospitality Industry experience
· Completion of all training programs
· Food Safety Manager Certification
· 1 years working full time at Toastique and/or a small restaurant
Salary : $34,900 - $44,200
