Accounts Receivable Clerk (Hybrid)

Summary

Must have a sound knowledge in accounts receivable and customer service. The candidate for this position must also have strong planning, organization, communication, and analytical skills.

Description:

  • Daily posting of A/R batches and process bank deposits
  • Daily posting of ACH & wired funds received from clubs and districts
  • Assist with payment and order corrections
  • Assist Membership teams with payment issues and corrections
  • Send out collection letters for outstanding customer balances
  • Track and record refunds/payments/chargebacks/NSF checks
  • Process refund checks to clubs and members
  • Weekly gift certificate processing for districts and members
  • Answer club and individual questions via telephone and email
  • Assist with special payment distributions
  • Support and cross train with other team members as needed
  • Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor related to your position/department

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; high attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Accounting system and customer engagement system experience a plus

Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree in Accounting or a Business degree with a concentration in Accounting preferred but not required
  • 1 years financial experience preferred but not required
  • 1 years customer service experience preferred but not required

Compliance with all company policies, including but not limited to the company’s COVID-19 vaccination policy and testing and face-covering policy, is a condition of employment. You must be able to connect to a reliable internet service to perform all job duties when working from home. Work authorization is required, and sponsorship is not available.  Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. 

Compensation for this position is $48,000.00 – $50,000.00 annually and is non-exempt.

This is a hybrid role, with some days remote and some days on-site (Tuesday and Wednesday are required in-office days each week) in our office at 9127 S. Jamaica St. Englewood, CO 80112. When working in the office, we follow CDC guidelines.
