**Position Overview:**
We are seeking an accomplished office manager to seamlessly transition into our practice and make an immediate impact. We are in search of an individual deeply passionate about enhancing our patients' lives, contributing innovative ideas, and supporting the growth of our practice. If you possess a minimum of 2 years of dental experience and excel in insurance billing, we invite you to join our dynamic team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Warmly welcome patients, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience throughout their visit.
- Proficiently manage digital x-rays, including full-mouth x-rays, bitewings, and PA's, with exceptional attention to detail for seamless insurance billing.
- Provide patients with clear pre-procedure instructions, including consent forms, addressing their questions and concerns with compassion and professionalism.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized patient dental charts, harnessing the full capabilities of our dental software, Dentrix (while we currently use paper charts, we have plans to transition to digital in the future).
- Efficiently bill insurance both by mail and using the provider's online tools offered with dental insurance.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and maintain excellent communication skills both with staff and our long-lasting patients.
- Strategically schedule patient procedures for optimal efficiency, particularly considering our 2-operatory setup.
- Ensure the office is well-stocked and impeccably organized, including ordering office supplies, checking in delivered packages, and maintaining cleanliness in the front waiting area and bathroom.
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks when necessary.
- Possess advanced computer skills and familiarity with dental software, particularly Dentrix.
- Verify patient insurance coverage prior to visits to ensure we are in-network providers and seamless billing.
- Skillfully manage patient accounts and insurance aging reports.
- Collaborate seamlessly with our team, offering support and assistance when needed.
