What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock Supervisor position at TOF?
The Stock Supervisor reports to the Store Manager and is generally responsible for the overall organization and productivity of the back stock areas as well as the Sales Support team. Specifically the Stock Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all operational standards are met/exceeded as they relate to any incoming, outgoing, receiving, organizing and replenishing of merchandise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Works to ensure all back stock areas are clean, organized, easily navigated and up to date at all times.
Partners with Store Manager, Inventory Manager, Buying and Visual teams as well as the Operations and Merchandise Supervisor to ensure all operational and merchandise needs are met in a timely manner.
Oversees regular stock counts to ensure the accuracy of the overall store inventory
Ensures all “HOLD” and “SOLD” merchandise is addressed in a timely manner and partners with Sales staff to meet the client’s needs.
Partners with Inventory Manager, O&M Supervisor and Buying and Visual teams on all transfers and RTVs.
Directs Sales Support staff through clearly communicating and following up on daily task list.
Partners with Management during Year End Inventory to ensure an organized, clean and accurate inventory.
Makes decisions on how to best organize back room areas as well as present new ideas to increase productivity and profitability.
Receiving new shipments.
Ticketing new merchandise.
Logging shipments to be picked up by the company’s driver to send to the shipping department.
Tracking and maintaining inventory through daily mini inventories.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
