Summary

The Vice President - Sales is responsible for leading a team of leaders to proactively manage the Inside Sales telemarketing staff; for implementing sales plans and strategies; and for developing new sales pipeline and growing company revenue.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Creates and executes go-to-market and operational strategies to achieve business objectives.
  2. In conjunction with our Executive Team, further defines the sales vision and strategy, and develops and maintains a growth plan to rapidly expand market share while optimizing sales execution.
  3. Scales proven inbound sales model while implementing enhancements to increase close rates.
  4. Develops and oversees a sales training program for new and existing employees.
  5. Evaluates and improves upon current technology stack and serve as a key stakeholder in all technology that enables sales.
  6. Mentors, coaches and develops sales managers and their respective teams to hit targets while progressing along career paths.
  7. Further develops a winning culture where staff is engaged, challenged to succeed, and rewarded appropriately.
  8. Maintains compliance with company policies, practices and procedures.
  9. Participates in proactive efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  10. Works effectively and communicates clearly with other employees.
  11. Handles changing deadlines and priorities.
  12. Reviews employees’ and own work for accuracy, completeness and proper authority.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Regularly leads and directs employees in Sales and Appointment Setting.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred) in a relevant field and/or ten or more years’ relevant experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows based applications and Salesforce CRM.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Physical Demands

This is relatively sedentary work which requires the following physical activities:  reaching, sitting, standing, lifting (≤25 pounds), finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.  

Work Environment 

Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation. The office work environment can be boisterous.  Attire is business casual. Hybrid work schedule in-office days Mon - Wed, remote work Th/Fri.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.

Travel
