Machine Cleaner
TOMRA North America, a top International Reverse Vending and Recycling Company, is recruiting for a Machine Cleaner to clean and maintain our reverse vending machines in the Central New York Area.
JOB SUMMARY
The Machine Cleaner will be responsible for traveling to the sites where our reverse vending machines are located in order to perform cleaning processes. They will also be responsible for reporting the need for repairs and/or replacement of the mechanical and electrical components to the Service Supervisor or Customer Support Center. Since the Machine Cleaner will be at customer sites they will need to possess strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with all kinds of people.
Pay: $17.00 an hour, bonus potential up to $450 Quarter Incentive Bonus Company vehicle, gas card and cell phone included
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for scheduling his/ her workday
- Performs routine cleaning on reverse vending machines
- Communicate any potential service needs to Service Supervisor or Customer Support Center
- Record all work completed in IFS using either company issued laptop or smart phone
- Complies with all safety requirements and reports any potential safety hazards to Service Supervisor
- Ensures customers are greeted, assisted and thanked at all stops
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Must have a clean and valid Driver License
- Must be able to read a map/ use GPS system
- Must be able to send and receive emails, attach and open files in Outlook
- Must be able to work with software such as excel, word, outlook
- Must be a proficient user of smart phones or other similar handheld devices. Need to be able to download and use common apps
- Must be able to efficiently route himself in the State of New York
- Be able to clean mechanical parts and perform minor repairs
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- HS Diploma or equivalent. Relevant work experience can be substituted
