Job Posting for People Advisor at Tony's Chocolonely

We are looking for a People Advisor to join our team based in Amsterdam! The #1 goal is to partner with the business teams to ensure that the right people activities are executed, and to support team Tony’s to be the most impactful in their roles and their careers.  You will be an integral part of the People and Culture team and report to the Head of People Partnering. In addition, you will collaborate closely with the rest of the People team, People leaders, and Project teams.  Only with a strong, engaged, and motivated team we can reach our goals and achieve our mission.

We are in search of someone whose communication skills, entrepreneurial attitude and experience in business advising will help us be a company that puts its people first!

Here is what you will do:

1. Partnering:

You provide guidance and support to people managers for assigned business teams in the entire spectrum of the HR functions including recruitment, leadership coaching, onboarding, performance development, and offboarding.

2. Employee relations:
You advise on performance management issues and lead minor investigations. You implement and promote workplace safety interventions. You stay updated on labor laws and provide advice on their implications for Tony's.

3. Engagement:

You lead the engagement questionnaires to measure engagement for Tony's, from collaboration with questionnaire provider, the communication to Tony's and the roll out of interventions to support team motivation.

4. Well-being:

You act as Tony's well-being specialist and support managers in well-being and absenteeism conversations with their people You collaborate with occupational health providers and promote wellbeing initiatives within Tony’s.

5. People projects and support:

You contribute to various project within the people & culture area and support people operations and talent team where required.

A minimum of 3 years of HR generalist (HR advisory & HR operations) experience, ideally in a scale up environment.
Understand the basics of the core HR processes and has experience with labor and employee relations in the Netherlands and other European countries.
Skilled in Excel, powerpoint, HR systems and reporting.
Able to navigate through the organization and partner with stakeholders at all levels and throughout different cultures and backgrounds. Is able to challenge and influence stakeholders on a constructive way.
Manage complexity and able to work structured with eye for details and the right prioritization.
Able to handle sensitivity and confidential information with discretion and professionalism at all times. Instills trust by gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
Drive to identify needs in the organization, investigate options, seek solutions and partner with other colleagues to make it happen.
