Sub Maker

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sub Maker to join our team. As a Sub Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling delicious subs according to customer preferences. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to our customers' satisfaction. Duties: - Prepare and assemble subs according to customer specifications - Slice and portion meats, cheeses, and vegetables - Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients - Sanitize workstations and equipment regularly to maintain food safety standards - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions - Upsell additional items such as drinks, chips, or cookies to enhance the customer experience - Operate POS system accurately for order processing and payment handling - Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sweeping floors - Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination - Adhere to all health and safety regulations Requirements: - Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred - Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods - Familiarity with retail math for cash handling purposes - Strong time management skills to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
