Account Executive, Suppliers - Boston

Company Summary

TOOLBX is on a mission to improve construction supply chain productivity by simplifying how builders order materials and suppliers sell & deliver products through one, unified platform.

Our platform allows builders to order materials from their local suppliers and have them delivered to their site within hours. We eliminate the need for skilled labour to go on supply runs so builders can save on labour costs, reduce project delays and finish projects faster.

Furthermore, we are building an ecommerce solution that allows suppliers to sell their products online through their own store—with same-day delivery so they can boost store loyalty and scale their business. By uniting builders and suppliers through technology we’re enabling them to be more efficient; improving productivity across the industry.

Here’s why it matters:

  • Stagnant productivity, low levels of digitization, and low profitability have dogged the construction sector for years—as have its highly bespoke building approach, fragmented ecosystem and unsophisticated supply chain practices.
  • Over half of the world’s solid waste comes from building and construction. We see an opportunity to drive planned orders and an on-demand supply chain to support buying only when you need it.
  • We eliminate the need for skilled labour to go on supply runs so builders can save on labour costs, reduce project delays and finish projects faster.
  • We see an opportunity for small businesses to play alongside the larger organizations. Our supplier ecommerce platform provides opportunities for the big and the small of the supply chain for construction to extend their market reach via this digital transformation.
