Job Position Full-time AR Associate for our Carol Stream, IL office. This will be a hybrid role, primarily beginning in the office FT to start (3-6 months), and possible remote/onsite combination thereafter.
The two primary responsibilities for this position will be management of rental transactions which will include customer invoicing and collections; in addition to managing customer financed deals, which will involve working with 3rd party financing companies, and ensuring smooth process of collecting funds.
As the accounting department continues to grow with the business, other duties may be identified.
Manage rental billings:
- Update rental orders each month with current rental term dates and generate current month’s customer invoices.
- Work with sales reps when necessary to clarify and follow up on transactions.
- Facilitate collection efforts with customers who have outstanding invoices for rental fees.
- Process credit card payments for rental fees as necessary.
Manage and coordinate leasing deals:
- Work as liaison between Sales, customer, and 3rd party financing companies.
- Ensure all documentation is fulfilled from lender perspective and Topcon requirements.
- Invoice financing company for financed transactions.
- Provide follow-up as necessary.
This position could evolve and take on additional responsibilities as needed. The TSS accounting team works as a group and supports each other as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2-year Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent business experience.
- 3 years of previous experience in office environment
- Microsoft Excel User
- Experience working in large ERP system. SAP or NetSuite ERP experience is a .
- Ability to work independently under time constraints.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills. Must be comfortable communicating with Sales reps and customers.
- The person in this position must demonstrate integrity and be able to keep confidential information.
Base Pay (Hourly Employee generally min to target):
Expected Base Pay Range: $25.50 to $27.50 per hour
The base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed. Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
