E-Staff Search Group has teamed up with a Pittsburgh company in search of a Help Desk Technician to act as the first point of contact for the IT needs of our client’s US employees.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Installation and configuration of laptops and desktops with Windows 10.
- Hardware troubleshooting and warranty management with manufacturers.
- Software configuration and troubleshooting.
- Local and remote infrastructure support with 20% travel required.
- Hardware inventory maintenance, equipment purchases following internal workflows and approvals.
- Collaboration with company’s global IT team.
- Management of support requests within company’s internal Helpdesk tool.
Education and Experience:
- At least a two-year technical degree
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of ITIL, ITIL 2011 or ITIL V4 to support our Helpdesk services. ITIL Foundations V4 certificate is highly valued.
- A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of Power BI and experience working with data sources in Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Hardware knowledge of peripherals such as monitors, printers and components such as motherboards, hard disks, processors, etc.
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure: interconnection of switches, firewalls, routers, etc.
- Knowledge of Windows 10 Professional on domain networks with Microsoft Active Directory.
- Knowledge of end-user software deployment platforms.
- Familiarity with hardware purchase platforms.
- Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Microsoft Endpoint Manager is a plus.
- Good communicator, very organized and enjoys teamwork, both with the internal team and with external suppliers.
- Language skills – although it is not a requirement, Spanish will be considered a plus.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
