What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat/Seafood Team Member position at Tops?

In addition, our Seafood Department offers the best selection of fresh fish, shrimp and shell fish. Meat/Seafood Team Membersassist the Meat and Seafood Managers and Cutters in stocking and maintaining the department in our full service meat and seafood counter.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Providing attentive and friendly customer service
- Preparing, weighing, wrapping, pricing, and labeling raw meat and fresh seafood products
- Ensuring proper handling and storing of product
- Maintaining proper case conditions, including cleaning, stocking, straightening, and rotating product
- Ensuring proper operation of and temperatures in cooler, prep area, freezer, lobster tanks, and cases
- Fulfilling customer requests for meat and seafood products and answering customer questions
- Any reasonable request from management
- Ability to maintain a friendly and courteous manner and promote sales through excellent customer service.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to identify various cuts of meat
- Ability to operate case cutters, knives and computerized scales
- Ability to operate knives, bands, grinder, slices, and various other meat processing equipment as well as baler/compactor
