What are the responsibilities and job description for the Perishable Shipping Clerk position at Tops?
The Shipping Clerkis responsible for
- Prepare shipping documents prior to truck departure from warehouse
- Perform 'load close' process to release the store order for shipment
- Coordinate truck departure with Dispatch
- Verify and retain shipment records detailing routing details
- Assists with inventory issues/ processes out of stocks for reselection
- Processes special store orders
- Ability to meet store departure times
- Responsible for order processing claims
- All other duties as assigned, to include filling in for vacations and personal days
- High school diploma;
- 1 year experience in similar capacity
- Strong communication skills, organization, adaptability, and problem solving skills
- Self-driven
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment / high energy position
- Strong Computer skills
Salary : $30,500 - $38,600
